Dragon boat shoes????

I try not to post anything about paddling on this blog, but I bet all the dragonboating readers of this blog will take notice of this post. Apparently Nike has made a special shoe for dragon boat paddlers. That's right, I couldn't believe my eyes either. It looks pretty ugly to me. I'm not quite sure what makes them so special. I would rather stick going bare feet. And given the fact that I fall in quite frequently, having shoes on will just make treading water a little harder.
