AIG looks to restructure and spinoff units.

To cap things off, Lehman's facing liquidation as they can't work out deals with any potential buyers. Taking bets on if the government will bail them out...

Watch for fireworks on Monday, the financial news are better than fiction.

AIG has at least half a billion in Fannie and Freddie preferred stocks. How much of a hit do you think that would be for AIG?

Considering AIG is seeking 40 billion in financing, a billion in Fannie and Freddie stocks seem to be chump change at this point.
