RNC Ratings Watch

Nielsens decided not to tally RNC on Monday, since it was pre-empted by Hurricane Gustav.

But day 2 gives some comparable sense of viewership between the DNC and the RNC. Neilsen reported that RNC drew 21.5 million on Tuesday, or about 4.3 million fewer people than day 2 of DNC on 6 channels.

Sarah Palin is expected to draw a big TV rating, so I will update that here as it comes out.

[UPDATE] Preliminary results showed that Palin did draw a big crowd

[UPDATE 2] It looks like McCain is also up against an Thursday night NFL game.
